Julia and Andy Furr acquired Woodside Farm in the winter of 2004.

Woodside Farm camping site is based in the small, friendly village of Thurne approximately 15 miles from the seaside town of Great Yarmouth approximately 8 miles from the seaside village of Hemsby and only 20 miles from the beautiful historic city of Norwich, with its wonderful cathedral, vast range of designer shops and nightclubs.

The broads and the river Thurne are within easy walking distance from the site and the famous Weavers Way public foothpaths runs around the area for some truly beautiful walks.

Whilst here ,why not visit the local pub, The Lion Inn, serving wonderful hot and cold meals all year round. You can expect a very warm welcome from the landlord, Sid, and his team of very friendly staff, whatever the weather! In the summer months, the pub also provides a village shop for all your groceries and food shopping.

Woodside Farm can provide you with electric hook-ups (subject to availabiliy) at a small daily charge.

On site, we have male and female shower facilities and a washing up room for your convenience.
